We sincerely apologize for the lack of explanation we have provided through our latest maintenance regarding the adjustments we have made to the DMG of Hero Shakmeh’s skilll ‘Advent of Despair’. We deeply regret about the measurements we have taken, and we’re terribly sorry for the disappointment this may have caused.
At first, in the process of preparing the new Hero Shakmeh, he was designed to have a high HP compared to other Knight Heroes which would allow him to withstand the DMG of the enemies in the front line. Also, he’s been designed to be a Tank Knight who can work out as a supporting role to the party.
Furthermore, Shakmeh can heal allies and attack enemies equal to a certain percentage of self’s Max HP, which allows to add more power to the team. He’s also a Hero that can cause considerable amount of DMG depending on his set of Gear.
However, we have noticed that Hero Shakmeh was causing too high levels of DMG which could affect the PVP contents. We have realized that on the first use of the skill ‘Advent of Despair (3rd Skill)’ when Shakmeh’s Unique Treasure ‘Scroll of Royalty’ is equipped, caused the other team to be defeated at a single strike. Also, when stacking [Dark Spirit] to the max, this could be of more danger to the balance of the team.
In addition, when using Shakmeh’s skill ‘Advent of Despair (3rd Skill)’ Shakmeh becomes immune to CC. In other words Shakmeh couldn’t be stopped by other Heroes’ CC ATKs.
Also, it was a skill that ignored defense so it was no use even if the opponents increased their DEF. As a result, we realized that this was not the Knight class we intended to create, and we knew this could be a threat to the current Arena contents. In the end, we decided to make adjustments to the skill in order to fix Shakmeh as a proper Tank Knight class character.
In the process of these adjustments, we were not able to listen or provide the necessary information, thus causing disappointment to Raiders who have cared for our game. We also feel responsible for not having prepared or tested enough during the development process.
We are aware that this has caused a huge disappointment to Raiders who have taken their time to build Shakmeh with all efforts and time. We know this might not make any changes to the disappointment we have given to all Raiders, but still we’d like to apologize by changing the rewards we were planning to distribute as compensation.

※ The rewards mentioned above need to be worked on through our dev team, so we will be sending these rewards to all Raiders from all server on February 23rd (Tue).
※ Also, we have encountered additional bugs with the issue in which [Tree of Sin] can’t be attacked when using Roi’s Blade Claw (3rd Skill) in the [Otherworldly Darkness Shakmeh] Dungeon (the issue we have announced on our maintenance notice on February 19th (Fri)) This will be fixed on February 23rd (Tue).
※ Please note that only Hero Shakmeh’s Unique Gear can be used as a medium in the Shakmeh’s Awakening Transfer Ticket.
We promise we will be plan, check and test carefully before releasing new Heroes in the future. And most importantly, we will make our best efforts to listen to the voices and suggestions of our Raiders for the improvement of KING’s RAID.
